Dear list,

I was doing a practice session for my company's gaad event that we are
doing on Thursday and my co-workers were telling me that my Jaws voice
volume was really low and that they could not hear it very well. Is
their a command to make sure that the volume of jaws is loud enough
while on a zoom meeting? Thanks.

Sincerely,
Nathan Clark

Are you sharing your audio along with your screen?

I have found that to fail sometimes. What I usually do is use a different sound card, i.e. my external monitor, to output JAWS through its speakers. This way, my microphone captures my voice and JAWS at the same level.

You may want to try that and setup an environment with multiple sound cards.

Greetings,

There is a *Share Sound* checkbox on the screen where you select the window
or application that you want to share. Selecting that tends to help quite a
bit when I am sharing audio clips or video. While sharing, you can find it
under the "more" options. I have had a couple of instances when it wasn't
working right so I toggled it off and on a few times and that seemed to
help...

Thanks,
H.

Assuming Jaws is using the same soundcard that you're using to share
with Zoom, the two places to check volume are in Jaws' settings (Options
> Voices > Voice adjustment), or in your Windows sound settings.
