Subject: value of CPACC certification

Dear Colleagues,
One of my past students (CSCI major) asked me about the value of
the Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies certification
from the IAAP. I would think the CPACCcombined with the Certified
Professional in Web Accessibility would be worthwhile, especially for
someone starting out in the field.
I'm curious what other people think. I look forward to your feedback. Note,
this person was a CSCI major and is interested in the web development area
of IT.

Since so many web developers have to deal with Word, PowerPoint, and PDF files, it's worthwhile to get the ADS (Accessible Document Specialist) certification from IAAP, too.
