All,

This is a very bold and interesting article: https://www.boia.org/blog/will-artificial-intelligence-help-accessibility

I really struggle with the claims AI technology has with Object (image) recognition stating they will resolve the issues. As there is a lot of context in image usage which goes beyond the description of the image. As AI as far as I am aware cannot obtain the authors intent of the image purpose. Also how PWD use web sites or other technology, is also another tall claim. As each user is different in how they use their Assistive Tech or navigating a web page. A lot of pre-conceived how PWD's use technology is out there and this will introduce Bias in AI data models without people meaning too. The research out there on PWD fair treatment and Ethics call this out very clearly.
