Hello Laura and WebAim,

Thank you for the reference to blind author, Cheryl Gillespie on
Facebook. I could not send her a conventional message, and the link
takes one to a chat program.

The issue with online self-publishing is inability to complete the
payment info, this is after entering the initial info on the form to
open an account. Only Draft2Digital seems to allow account sharing and
that's at one's risk.
Some in the NFB have tried to make this a priority for that
organization, i.e., accessable self-publishing, but it has not been
seen as a priority overall.

I thank you for taking the time with my issue as it means a lot to
know someone is interested.

All the best,
David

Hello Members,

Per my recent post and replies, My book title is in the publishing
process with both Draft2Digital and Ingram Spark.
I hired an editor to assist with this, and no bank information was
required, which put my mind at ease.
I was able to contact the link provided in someone's reply of
Saturday, and they, too, verified the difficulty of getting published
as a blind author due to the mechanics involved.
What would be possible steps one can take to make this issue more pronounced?
A process free to others, cost this author a significant amount to
have realized.

Sincerely,
