Hello everyone,

I am currently enrolled in a Salesforce course tailored for individuals with disabilities, offered through the Blind Institute of Technology. I've acquired a study guide, but unfortunately, I am unable to read or use it. I've received a quote ranging from $5.25 to $22.50 per page for remediation, which is a bit out of my budget. If anyone knows of a more affordable service or solution, I'd greatly appreciate any recommendations.

Thank you, Dean Vasile 617-799-1162

If you want to send it to me I will see what we can do. I can't promise anything because it depends on the size, content and why it's not accessible. Does it just need to work with a screen reader? Or does it need to work in Reflow mode and support colour substitution too, which would take longer to fix?

I tried sending the document, and it bounced back. I don't think the message sent at all before, so Here is what I said.:
Steve,
Thank you for looking at it.
I am primarily concerned with the screen reader accessibility. The other screen reader users that and I purchased the guide would appreciate being able to read and use the document.
To my knowledge, I have not heard of anyone else that is taking the course having any other issues with it.
Thank you!
Dino

Dean,
Have you asked the Blind Institute of Technology to supply accessible
course materials? Perhaps they are unaware that the materials (at least the
page you referenced) are not accessible.
The page in question was a pdf of a scanned (or printed to pdf) of the
content.

Thank you so much for your suggestion.
However, this material does not come from B IT.
It is from focus onforce. com
However, I did have someone from this list contact me and he went and looked at the document and apparently all it is an outline.
The course is actually on their website.
And I was actually able to navigate that today once I figured that out your way, but I really appreciate you getting back to me.

I was able to help Dean.

The PDF was a 9 meg image. LOL. It was just a checklist for the online modules they have in the actual study course. He was able to get it all squared away.
