Which is more acceptable? -
<a href="http://www.nbc.com"><img alt="NBC" src="nbc.gif"></a>
vs.
<a href="http://www.nbc.com"><img alt="link to NBC" src="nbc.gif"></a>
When you're specifying an ALT attribute like this for a linked image, can we
just give a name of the link or do you really have to tell that this is a
link. My understading is that if it is a link then you have to tell it, but
with JAWS screen reader I see it's quite annoying because it automatically
detects linked images and says "link" to all linked images. So it ends up
saying the word "link" twice.
