Wonder if anyone has a comment on the accessibility of this technique?

… They are planning on using the content-heavy floating nav menus, such as can be found at:
http://www.washington.edu/ (use "Future Students" as an example)
http://www.nationalgeographic.com/ (use "Environment" as an example)
He says that if they are coded correctly, they do conform to accessibility standards. Is this consistent with your understanding?

Those are referred to as "mega menus".

There was a visitor group set up by default (SBCTC-ITD Staff). It is easily removed if needed.
