Subject: Windows Partitions interface

Hi everyone.
I just want to know if any screen reader users or keyboard only users
have tried creating a partition on Windows using the "Create and Format
hard disk Partitions" interface of Windows 7.
For a sighted user, it takes just a minute to click a graphical view
table to create a new partition.
Using a screen reader, I don't seem to find a keyboard-only equivalent
for accessing the graphical view table to create a new partition.
If anyone has tried creating a partition using only the keyboard, can
you please advise how you were able to do this?
Thanks very much.
Julius

Hi Julius,
You can do everything in the top, drive list, panel, without needing to use the graphical half of this window (which merely gives a graphical view of the same data in the top of this window).
Right clicking (or shift+F10 for the context menu via the keyboard) on any of the listed drives in the top section brings up exactly the same options as right clicking in the graphical view in the bottom portion of the screen, allowing you to select: format, shrink partition, extend volume etc.
Cheers
Joe

Thanks very much, Joe.
This was a case of the AT user (me) not taking the time to fully explore
the interface.
