Hello:
jas has any one noticed that the java access bridge seems to be broken
yet again.
I have a few java applications I need to run and lately they seem to not
speak any more including the java control panel itself. I thought that
java 7 had the access bridge enabled by default and you just needed to
turn it on in the ease of access center. So why can't I get my java apps
talking

Is it set on in your access center? If so, before you use any of your app, make sure you can use JAWS in the JAVA control panel. Then let's see what you find, let me know.

Hello:
Yes it's on in the access center and no I can't use it in the control
panels. No speech at all. I can run the jaws ocr and get some of the text
but really bad and if I can say find the update button I can click it but
only with the jaws ocr function. It's as if the java access bridge is just
not there at all.
I saw a few things to check in this link

I think it may be that I am running a 64 bit windows and a 32 java. Going
to hand this my it people to see if they can take the recommended actions
to see if it will work

Ok, this makes me thing you have more than one version of the JAVA client. You either need to make sure that you only have the latest or you will need to get the correct version check in the control panel. That's been my experience. Of course you'll need to restart JAWS after all this.
