Good morning Listers,
I am being asked to make sure messages have bread crumbs. I know this is little things at the top which look like bread crumbs. I seem to be able to get back to the previous screen with the back, alt plus left arrow, but I am told there aren't any bread crumbs on that page. What am I missing?

Breadcrumbs, show users location within the site. It looks like it
is part of the AAA rating 2.4.8

I am told a page does not have breadcrumbs, but when I hit alt + left arrow I get to the previous page. I thought that meant the page has a breadcrumb. How do I know if a page has a breadcrumb?

PP: Suzie, breadcrumb refers to the visual and text based indicator on a
page that lays out the hierarchy. For instance on may pages, you'll see
something like:
About > Profiles > Jim Smith
Or:
Services > document remediation > PDF and Word
This gives users a hierarchical path to the site, provides organization, and
used to help search engines. (I'm not sure if search engines still use
breadcrumb navigation.)

Suzie, I think that the breadcrumbs are usually after the header/banner/etc. stuff at the top and start of the content. Look on nfb.org and after you pick a topic, there is a "you are here" at heading level 2 before the content.
