Colleagues,
We have a staff member on campus who cannot use the CTRL+ALT+DELETE combination to log into Windows due to extremely limited dexterity. This person can type one character at a time on a specialty keyboard.
Does anyone know of a way to call the login screen without using the CTRL+ALT+DELETE combo?
Thanks,
Todd

Sticky keys can be turned on in Windows by pressing the left shift key 5 times in a row or through ease of access settings in control panel. Sticky keys allows the user to press each modifier key separately and then the whole sequence is passed to Windows at once.

Todd, have you heard of Sticky Keys? You can find it in the Ease of Access Center under "Make the keyboard easier to use". This will allow your colleague to press one key at a time.

We recently upgraded to Windows 10. As far as I can tell, this system can now bring up the login by just hitting a single key or just using the fingerprint reader.
Not sure if this is true for all Windows 10 installations or if this is even an option for you.
Best,
Vanessa

The question is, is the machine a part of a domain or just a personal machine? If a personal machine, just start typing the password and you are good to go.
