I understand that there is a difference between native mobile apps and HTML
ones. I'd like to learn more about the native mobile app A11Y. I am mostly
interested in iOS.
Does anyone has any good links or references that can get me started? I have
a native iOS application that is not accessible with Voiceover. The company
I am working with expressed its desire in working with me to make it
accessible. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Support iOS accessibility framework must refer to the software development documentation found on Apple website. This is the resources and starting point to understand how it works very well documented.
