Subject: PDF creation from Word

I've got a Word document created in Word 2016 then edited in Word 2019 that
I do a "SaveAs" in PDF.
Thing is, each time someone clicks on links within the PDF it asks the user
to verify it's okay to go to that link. I'm sure it is a necessary internet
safety precaution but I'd like to eliminate that extra step. The links are
all https and have been verified by me that the links are safe. I want
people to be able to click on those links and not have to verify, with
Acrobat Reader, that those links are safe each time they are clicked upon.
Is there a prescribed way to do this? I am blind and cannot use Adobe
editing products to modify my PDF documents.

Hi David,
There's nothing in the Acrobat PDF that allows or blocks URLs.
That's the end user's system asking to confirm whether to execute the
hyperlink to an outside domain.
You're good on your end.

Expanding on Bevi's response, if someone is using Adobe software to read
PDFs, then there is a setting both Adobe Reader and in Acrobat Pro that
controls this:
Edit -> Preferences -> Trust Manager -> then the second group is
"Internet access from PDF Files outside the web browser".
The default setting for this is to "Always Ask". That's where the prompt
comes from. Individual users can make exceptions to specific domains, or
can turn off the warnings altogether. But as Bevi says, there is nothing
you can change in your actual PDF that will bypass this behaviour.
