<address> has been around for so long, but is not treated in any
special way. I'd say it's not especially relevant.

It's good to use the elements that we have (including the ones you
mention) but they're quite limited in scope. If you want some semantic
goodness here and now, rather than when the capital 'S' and 'W'
Semantic Web arrives, have a look at Microformats:
http://microformats.org/ which basically uses existing HTML elements
and attributes to give content meaning.
