One of the best places to learn about what's
going on with Wordpress accessibility (both front
and back end), ask questions, and contribute back to it is here:

http://make.wordpress.org/accessibility/

I believe there are known accessibility issues
with the Administrative interface that people are
working on i.e. dragging and dropping widgets.
There also appear to be issues with the Add Media
panel, based on a quick skim of recent posts.

Good luck.
