I wouldn't think the last one would be problematic for people using Talkback or any other screen reader since the user can opt either to mask or unmask the password. Also, unless it has changed, I think Talkback doesn't speak the password unless the user has the earphone jack plugged in.

Subject: [WebAIM] confirm password field or show password during password creation?

We're having a discussion about which is the better method when creating a
password for an account on an android mobile device.

Considering accessibility, usability and security, which would be the
better option:

1) two fields - password and confirm password

2) password field and a show password checkbox which will display the
password rather than displaying asterisks

It seems that the latter would be more usable for mobility and cognitive
issues, but there may be security concerns for talkback users.

Any advice would be appreciated.
