I suspect is not intentional, but the menu bar is overlapping some of the
page content. I am using IE 6.0.2800 with 600x800 res, win98se.

Subject: page check?

I want to know if something I'm thinking about doing is gross overkill, or
more annoying than it's worth, in regards to accessibility.

the page in question:
http://www.pierce.ctc.edu/test/anotherNewHome/
(it's a mockup of a new homepage; most of the links go to entirely the wrong
places, or nowhere at all, and the collage is atrocious filler.)

my questions:
I used one of those new-fangled JS/CSS menus that uses actual HTML lists -
in a text browser, the full lists are shown...these are pretty long lists.

1) are they too long/annoying?

when I saw them w/out CSS, it occurred to me that a "skip nav" link might be
appropriate at the beginning of each sub-list.

2) is that overkill?

I appreciate any feedback on this issue. (or any other opinions about the
page - so far I'm happy with it, except for my ridiculous attempt at a
graphical collage - but I'm willing to hear what others have to say.)

thanks!
