Hi Sarah,

I don't have answers for you but I can point you to a couple resources
where you can hopefully do some testing and formulate your own opinions:

1. The CKEditor docs. There's a section on accessibility:

2. To enhance accessibility testing in the editor, there's the
Accessibility Checker button addon. It's pricey from what I understand but
looks very interesting - https://cksource.com/a11ychecker/demo/
