There is a requirement for QA Lead for Accessibility testing in a
Testing solutions company based out of Bangalore.

JD :
Lead QA (Accesibility Testing)
Experience : 3 to 8 years
Skills:
- A strong background in web development and experience in HTML5, CSS,
JavaScript, SVG, WAI-ARIA, and the application of WCAG 2.0 AA
requirements.
-To have good knowledge of all the standards applicable for ADA
compliance across Geos / standards.
- A strong background in the use of assistive technologies across
multiple platforms, including screen readers, magnification, read
aloud tools. Strong in use of accessibility testing tools and methods.
-Should have independently handled testing of significant and complex
features Experience in testing Web /Mobile Applications and/or API for
their compliance to various assistive technologies, and these are
launched to end users/ app markets(US).
-Strong experience in leading complex product testing.
-Should be skilled in Planning and Estimation Techniques. (Lead)
-Strong customer focus.
- Ability to develop test strategies at a product/product-integration
level incorporating the various assistive technologies, standards and
customer feedback
-Ability to devise process improvement plans and implement changes in
process release to release.
-Seen as 'Go to' person for the product line, related projects and/or
technology. Positive Attitude.
Roles and Responsibilities
-Prepare Test Strategy/Approach for Accessibility Testing for all
products across multiple platforms
-Prepare checklist for accessibility compliance of Web/Mobile apps for
various standards
-Come up with a proposal of the latest tools to be used for compliance
to various accessibility standards
-Prepare a strategy to ensure multiple browsers/OS / Devices are
tested for in an automated way for compliance to the standards, and
regression of features
Come up with an acceptance criteria w.r.t accessibility
-Analyse features/products and come up with tests for accessibility
and automate them.
Guide and Mentor junior Test engineers Analyse interpret and
summarize test results and metrics and communicate as appropriate to
management, stakeholders and team as appropriate
-Contribute in collecting and improving the metrics.
-Estimate and schedule for features.
-Establish coverage and traceability
-Mentor and train team members
-Identify and escalate Risks on time and suggest mitigation measures.
Qualifications:
BE/B-Tech/Mtech/MCA or Equivalent
