Hi,
It's not so much the database as it is the interface to the database. For total accessibility, assuming the person is a screen reader user and the database is a web one, at a university, I would probably opt for a MySQL database with a PHP front-end that includes as much plain old HTML as possible.

Subject: [WebAIM] accessible database
hello: one of our units on campus has asked me if i know of any accessable database they can use to manige student interactions.
in the past they used filemaker but i felt it was not accessable when i
tryed to use it this team does not have a dev on hand to creat the
database so they need a simple form creator that can give easy lookups.
and stats.
what does any one here recamend. thanks lucy Lucia Greco Web Accessibility Evangelist IST - Architecture, Platforms, and Integration University of California, Berkeley
