I think Acrobat is gaslighting me. I have recently remediated two PDF files
that contained some complex tables to which I added id and headers
attributes. After saving (as) the file the id attributes have remained but
the associated headers and the row/column span attributes have disappeared.
I know these attributes were there just an hour ago because I ran it
through JAWS to make sure it was reading properly and made some fixes,
always saving (as).
This is not the only time I have seen this either and I think it has
happened to colleagues.
Is this a software bug? Perhaps something is wrong with my installation of
Acrobat professional?
Has anyone else seen this happen?
Thanks for any feedback.
