I'm testing something where giant buttons seem to gain an additional layer around them... maybe that's like a halo.
The appearance of the extra layer isn't an animation by itself, but in this case, because it "grows" from the main button body, we're counting it as one.

I use the close-my-eyes test. If they are open before the interaction, closed, and then later I open them again and I see a new change... then if I keep them open while performing the operation again, if I see anything new, it's probably an animation.
