Thanks Andrew! I agree it's a very large file to download - the video
is part of an interactive CD. That's strange that it works on a WMP 8
player. I've been testing with WMP 9 and have had no luck. Are there
any known workarounds to get it to play on all the players?

What is the recommended solution? I've talked to a few folks and they
recommended using Flash instead. Is that a better solution to ensure
accessibility for the majority?

Andrew thanks again for the information.

Thanks!

I'm seeing text on WMP 8 on Windows XP machine and on WMP 7.1 on OSX.

This would be a lot easier to test with a file that wasn't so huge.
242Mbps for a video that is several minutes in length is a lot to expect
end-users to download...
