I have looked into this before, and my recollection is that you cannot change the focus indicator style. I have an even more vague recollection that you can use JavaScript to change the style, but that this causes other issues that are probably not acceptable.

From a WCAG conformance perspective, this is exempt from the colour contrast requirements as long as you do not change the default background colour. However, if you change the background colour, then the colour contrast requirements apply.

Subject: [WebAIM] Link focus indicator for PDF?

I'm remediating a document and have passed Acrobat Pro and PAC3 a11y checks.

Now I want to add-or technically "edit"-a visual focus/hover indicator to a few links. There is a small, thin outline but it's barely visible and I'd like to make it thicker and change the color. I haven't found anything online-any suggestions?

Thanks,
TMW
