Hello all,
Is there any online courses in web accessibility? I want to get some
formal training in web accessibility to go along with my degree from school.
Thanks,
Greg Wocher

Greg et al:
Below, I'll provide a few links that may point you in the right
direction. There are many, many free Webinars and low-cost seminars,
once you know how to watch for them.
For the benefit of the list, I thought I'd mention that both
Knowbility and EZFire are hosting crowd-funded campaigns to establish
online courses. These both are being widely promoted on Twitter. The
links follow, but I want to stress that I am affiliated with neither
organization, so I am sharing the information, only; this is not a commercial!

and

It will be great to be able to learn from whatever gets funded.
Since, as far as I can see, a lot of accessibility knowledge is
shared via Twitter, these days, you might want to follow some of the
Twitter lists cited in this post:

Though the discussion wasn't entirely online-focused, I'll point you
to a previous WebAIM thread in which the topic of training,
generally, was discussed. It's here:
http://webaim.org/discussion/mail_message?id=25311
Patrick mentioned WebAIM's training (held in May), and it is coming
up again in August:
http://webaim.org/services/training/
Yes, I realize WebAIM's training isn't online, but it's worth considering.
Greg, if you haven't studied all of the articles on the WebAIM site,
I'd highly recommend doing that.
Best,
Jennifer

Hi Greg,
I teach an online (for credit) course on web accessibility. You can read
more about it at:

.
If you have questions you can email me off-list.
Thanks,
Howard

There are also several credit courses being offered via the University of Colorado:

You might also look at the Deque website. They have a new training "university".
